Mindfulness for Teenagers
Our course is very easy to do.
Once you login, you will have a few simple meditation exercises to complete.
If you’ve heard of Headspace then our course is very similar. There are four different weeks in our course, and each week has about three exercises.
Each exercise only takes about five to ten minutes to do. It really is that simple.

We are in the middle of giving all our students access to Headwise and I have to say we are all very excited.
Our students have been under a lot of stress, like all the other teenagers around the country, and we think that mindfulness will give them back a sense of normality in the next few months.
We like the fact that the Headwise course has some fun elements built in to keep students engaged with the course. This can only be a good thing.
HeadWise has been absolutely amazing, helping me and my friends cope with the Coronavirus situation and with getting our Leaving certs results too. I feel calmer inside and have fewer arguments at home now as a result of practicing mindfulness.
I liked completing the Headwise course at my own pace and it was very easy to do. I really liked getting the Certificate of Completion at the end because I felt like I had achieved something important.
I bought this course for my two teenage children as it was recommended to me by a close friend. I encourage my sons to use mindfulness when they feel like things are getting out of control or when their anxiety is spiking. They find it very helpful, and I have noticed that they don’t get as angry with each other the way that they used to.
